• Location: situated across the street from the Music City Center and only a 10-minute walk from Broadway, the location is excellent. As a guest here, I could feel the heartbeat of downtown Nashville. As a CMA Fest attendee, this would be a tremendous asset.

• Excellent dining options: I was delighted with my meal at Aqua Lyrics, the on-site hotel pool restaurant and bar. Especially for a pool restaurant, the quality was outstanding. I had a chicken caesar wrap in a spinach tortilla with fries (the fries were extra crispy and delicious). Someone else in my party had the marinated grilled chicken flatbread (also delicious). I appreciated that Aqua Lyrics was open from 10AM-10PM, giving guests ample opportunity to access drinks and food at the pool. The hotel breakfast was abundant and delicious. In addition to a full European-inspired breakfast buffet (featuring pastries, a variety of cheeses and meats, egg tarts, yogurt, and freshly baked croissants imported from France), guests were able to choose one item off the menu. We tried French toast with berries and open-face toast with Manchego cheese, arugula, and Prosciutto. Upon checking in, guests are given a card with the hours for all the hotel restaurants and the bar, which I found helpful; in addition to Aqua Lyrics and the AC Kitchen (where breakfast was served), the hotel features several other dining options, including a steakhouse and a Mexican restaurant (which I did not try).

• Spacious outdoor balcony: this space was one of our favorite spaces at the hotel. This spacious balcony overlooked Korean Veterans Blvd and had a beautiful view of downtown. We enjoyed seeing the sunset from the balcony and later returned to sit and relax after dark. The one downside is that the doors lock at 10PM and we didn't see any signs letting us know. It's such a wonderful space and would be nice to have available until later in the evening -- and at least would be helpful to know what time it does close (we had to ask at the desk later).

• Pool and hot tub: the pool area is particularly nice. The pool is spacious and we noticed many guests gathering at the hot tub. There is ample seating situated amidst a relaxing atmosphere. As previously mentioned, it's helpful to have an on-site restaurant and bar, allowing guests to hang out in the pool area for longer amounts of time without having to leave for food or drinks.

• Friendly and helpful staff: from our first interaction with the valet attendant to the person checking us in at the front desk, everyone with whom we interacted at the AC was friendly, professional, and helpful. When we went to the small market in the lobby for late-night snacks, the person at the front desk even comped our purchase, telling us it was his kind deed for the day. Though small, this act of kindness made a great impression on us. I did have an issue with being double-charged for valet parking. However, when I brought up this problem with the front desk, the staff were quick to remedy the situation and answer any questions.
