Gray's Lily
Lilium grayi
Roan Mountain, near Roan High Knob (elevation 6,286 ft.). The state line dividing Tennessee and North Carolina runs along the Roan Mountain ridge. This plant was on the North Carolina side of the line along the road across from the visitor's information center. Other Lillium grayi were found near the site of the old Cloudland Hotel.
