[Caught in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park by Ed McDowell,
President of the Georgia Native Plant Society. Ed was using a Nikon
D100. The hike on April 26 was part of the 53rd Annual Wildflower
Pilgrimage, sponsored by the park. The leaders for this particular
hike were Paul Threadgill of Maryville College and Tom Patrick of
the Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources. The camera you see in the
photo above is a Nikon 990 Coolpix, mounted on a monopod.]
