At the beginning of the hike: Paul Threadgill,
from the Biology Department at Maryville College, speaks to part
of the group. Botanist Tom Patrick, botanist from the GA Dept. of
Natural Resources, is hanging back with the others to discuss violets.
During the day's hike, Patrick will identify about a dozen different
violets.
