We've long supported and loved the Nashville Farmers' Market and we're delighted to discover the burgeoning interest in community supported agriculture (CSA). We've begun a collection of some of the useful websites about sustainable gardening in Nashville and Tennessee.

Local Harvest: Real Food, Real Farmers, Real Community: about CSA's (community-supported agriculture) in Nashville

Nashville Urban Harvest: community group working to build a sustainable food system in Nashville. Current projects include an urban community farm in West Nashville, a Buy Local Campaign, and an organization of local farmers’ markets that help support local farmers and producers.

Pick Tennessee Produce: a useful tool for finding where you can go to find fresh produce and pick your own berries (with a county-by-county list including addresses and phone numbers. The growing seasons for various vegetables and fruit in Tennessee are listed. Good rosters of organic farms, nurseries, and special farm-related activities.
