Thailand,Tennessee?
In the March 15 issue of Sports Illustrated,
international shipping provider DHL ran an ad showing a four-wheel
drive navigating a flooded road in a rural setting.The ad's caption
read: “For 35 years, we’ve delivered despite language
barriers, unpaved roads and lack of street addresses. Try us to
Nashville.”
Turns out that the photo wasn't taken in Nashville
or even in Tennessee. The intrepid delivery vehicle depicted in
the ad is making its way on a flooded rice paddy in THAILAND. The
ad gives a whole new meaning to DHL's tag line: "we move the
world."
